For extreme demands
Ideal for all types of laboratories: research centers, biochemistry labs, pharmaceutical labs, hospital laboratories, operating rooms, school labs, kitchens, and the food industry.
When absolute cleanliness and protection are required, Max Resistance2 delivers at all levels.
Unlike other compact work surfaces, Max Resistance2 is unaffected by contact with aggressive chemicals, even at the highest concentrations, such as nitric, hydrochloric, and hydrofluoric acids, or hydrogen peroxide.
You can trust in its absolute chemical resistance.
Permanent Resistance
Max Resistance2 is extremely resistant to chemical and physical aggression, thanks to FunderMax’s patented technology. Created from tested and certified raw materials, compressed at high temperatures and pressures, the result is a homogeneous, decorative, and extremely durable panel. Being completely uniform and seamless, it is also permanently resistant to moisture.
Patented Surface Technology
The exclusive ‘RE technology,’ developed in our facilities by FunderMax scientists, is used in the production of Max Resistance2—perfecting the finish and providing ultimate resistance on both sides. Unlike ordinary surfaces made with Electronic Beam Curing (EBC) technology or melamine, the work surface.
Max Resistance2 offers significantly higher resistance to scratches, impact, and abrasion, as well as to aggressive acids. Max Resistance2 sets a new standard for laboratory surfaces and considerably extends the service life of your laboratory work surface.
Max Resistance2 is a high-pressure thermosetting laminate (HPL), produced in high-pressure and high-temperature laminating presses according to EN 438-4 type CGS standards.
Structure
MAX RESISTANCE
Thanks to its scientifically developed and double-hardened acrylic polyurethane coating, Max Resistance2 withstands the toughest tests—unaffected by solvents, most acids, or the most aggressive chemicals. Easy to clean and disinfect, while also resistant to wear and scratches, this innovative material significantly extends the service life of your laboratory work surface.
Antimicrobial
Thanks to its non-porous finish, Max Resistance2 can be easily disinfected and does not promote bacterial growth. As a result, you can disinfect with confidence, knowing that you will eliminate over 99.99% of germs. After deliberate contamination with the aggressive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, followed by disinfection, Max Resistance2 was shown to be as effective as operating room tiles and stainless steel in terms of disinfection. These rigorous tests demonstrate the superior performance of Max Resistance2 and highlight its suitability for medical, biochemical, food, and pharmaceutical sectors or laboratories. In an additional test, it was demonstrated that Max Resistance2’s surface is free of micropores. Comparison with other available surfaces shows that this is a truly unique feature.
Max Resistance2
makes life much easier. With its jet-black core and decorative surfaces resistant on both sides, you can maximize your design and reduce waste during manufacturing. An extra-high resin content and careful production result in an intense black color in its core; no additional treatment is needed for the edges.
Exceeds All Tests
In addition to chemical resistance, mechanical strength is essential for creating highly durable laboratory surfaces that stand the test of time. This is where Max Resistance2 excels.
SEFA 3 (Laboratory Surfaces)
Thanks to its innovative patented surface technology, Max Resistance2 exceeds SEFA 3 test results and is SEFA-certified.
In large, design-oriented projects, surfaces, colors, and textures can be coordinated and combined with the extensive range of FUNDERMAX products, ensuring a unique and contemporary design.
